"We faced a tough opponent in a challenging match," he commented. "They were well-organized and took the lead, which made it more challenging for us. However, we generated several good chances.
"Overall, we played fairly well, and they also put in a solid performance. Moving forward, we need to improve our clinical finishing."
Man of the Match: Cody Gakpo
Cody Gakpo was the standout player of the first half, equalizing the game with a powerful run and strike in the 29th minute. The Liverpool forward took five shots, with two on target, created three chances, and successfully completed four dribbles. Defensively, he contributed with two tackles and four ball recoveries.
